I’m running to be a school board trustee for the North Vancouver School District #44.

I have a MA in Environmental Education and Communication, and I have spent my career helping people to connect with nature, with each other, and with the places they call home.

My professional life has been rooted in community education, specifically outdoor, environmental, and sustainability learning. Including 5 years working in a school district, experiencing how important people are to the healthy functioning of the school system.

I am an active volunteer. As a youth baseball coach with the North Shore Baseball Association where I get to support kids as they grow, learn, and build confidence through sport. And on my school’s PAC, where I focus on fun ways to encourage safe and active travel to and from school.

I feel deeply connected to the North Shore. I’m a nature lover. You can find me and my family skiing in the winter, paddling in the summer, and on our bikes whenever we can. These experiences shape my values and my belief in the importance of community, stewardship, and creating opportunities for young people to thrive.

I believe that curiosity strengthens community: when we listen to one another, ask questions, and stay open to learning we make better decisions together. This mindset shapes how I work, how I lead, and how I show up in my community.
