Dedicated to community service, leadership and representation, Ian will bring his common sense, ethics and problem-solving skills to Squamish Council.
Ian has spent the last 12 years contributing to the quality of life in Squamish — from the Brackendale Art Gallery to Squamish Arts; from Hilltop House Family Council to the Squamish Sunshine Choir. He currently chairs the Hilltop House Family Council, serves on the board of Squamish Arts and founded the new Brackendale Art Gallery Non-profit Society. He also directs the Squamish Sunshine Choir, and leads regular sing-along sessions for seniors at Hilltop House, Shannon Falls Residence, and the 55 Activity Centre. For Ian, this isn't a resume built for an election, it's simply who he is, and why he's decided it's time to bring that same care to council.
