Hi, I'm Jay Matte.

I'm running for Mission City Council because I believe in this community and I believe we can build an even better future for it.

For years, l've invested my time, energy and experience into Mission. I'm a local small business owner, long-time Chamber of Commerce board member, youth entrepreneurship mentor, TED Talks organizer, volunteer for an all-ages skateboard club, and participate in local economic development initiatives.

I'm not someone who likes to sit on the sidelines.

If you care about your COMMUNITY, you should be willing to roll up your sleeves and help make it better and that is what I'll continue to do as your City Councillor.

50,000 BRAINS ARE BETTER THAN 7!

That's why I will be a councillor who

LISTENS, CONNECTS, COLLABORATES AND GETS THINGS DONE FOR YOU.

I want to help create a Mission where local businesses can thrive, where youth have opportunities to succeed, and that growth is created thoughtfully with responsible planning, and our community remains a place we are proud to call home.

Let's build, strengthen, and shape Mission's future - TOGETHER.
