Amit Gupta, a Mississauga resident, husband, father, and PPC candidate, is running to serve Mississauga East - Cooksville and all Canadians through the People’s Party of Canada—the only party upholding true conservative values, putting Canadians above global interests. Over the last 22 years working in finance and technology strategy, Amit has helped Fortune 500 enterprises save $2+ billion through processes improvements, negotiations, and product development. With formal education in Computer Science Engineering, MBA in Finance and Accounting, Amit is equipped to tackle pressing challenges impacting our economy and our citizens.
Amit will strive for tougher crime laws, enhanced self-defense protections for citizens, and measures to safeguard children from harmful ideologies. He’ll prioritize Canadians for Canadian jobs and reform immigration to emphasize quality over quantity, ensuring alignment with Canada’s values. By lowering taxes and abolishing capital gains taxes, Amit will drive prosperity. Amit believes that the function of the government is to protect Canada, create laws and opprtunities for prosperity and to stay out of its citizens pockets.

Reason for running
I’m running for the People’s Party of Canada in Mississauga East - Cooksville because I’m alarmed by current and past government policies that are impoverishing Canadians, fueling crime, and neglecting our needs.
Rising poverty, skyrocketing youth unemployment, and a lack of business investment are crippling our communities, while leaders prioritize external conflicts over Canadian families.
As a husband, father, and community servant with 22 years in finance, I’m determined to reverse this decline. I’ll champion tougher crime laws, stronger self-defense protections, and policies to safeguard children from harmful ideologies.
By prioritizing Canadians for jobs and reforming immigration to focus on quality, we’ll rebuild opportunity. Lowering taxes and abolishing capital gains taxes will spark economic growth and attract investment.
