Meghan Murphy is proud to represent the PPC in her home territory of Vancouver East.
Meghan is accustomed to being a courageous voice against tyrannical initiatives. Within feminism, she is known for questioning the mantra that “sex work is work.” In 2017, she testified in the Senate against Bill C-16, Canada’s gender identity legislation, and was nearly the only feminist voice in Canada publicly fighting for women's sex-based rights at the time.
Meghan spoke at the first ever event in Canada discussing the conflict between women's rights and gender identity, and has continued to lead that fight in Canada and around the world. She is thrilled to support the only party in Canada openly pushing back against gender identity ideology. Her history on the left and in feminism is a long one, which brought her to a place where she chose to reject ideological and political categories in favour of free and independent thought. Today, Meghan is committed to fighting for freedom, sovereignty, and the truth above all else.
