Tejvir Pandher has proudly called Abbotsford home for nearly three decades. He grew up in the Fraser Valley and graduated from the Mission School District before going on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of the Fraser Valley, with a major in accounting and a minor in finance. He later earned the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
His professional experience covers a wide range: accounting, public practice, managing a family business and more than ten years in the media industry. This mix has given him a strong foundation in financial analysis and budgeting, along with clear communication and an understanding of how decisions affect people.
Education has shaped Tejvir’s life from the start. Raised by parents who were both teachers, he saw firsthand the dedication educators bring to their students and the difference a good education makes. He believes education is both a lifelong priority and the foundation for opportunity, for every child in every neighbourhood.
Tejvir has a long record of giving back to his community. He has served on the Abbotsford District Literacy Plan Committee and the Abbotsford Canada Day Celebration Committee, and has volunteered with cultural and sports organizations and university clubs. He currently serves as Vice-President of the Fraser Valley Chartered Professional Accountants Association’s board.
Tejvir is running for School Trustee to bring practical financial oversight, transparent decision-making and a collaborative, student-centred approach to the Abbotsford Board of Education.
